Iowa County Fair
The Iowa County Fair is just around the corner, and for many 4-H members, this event is the highlight of the 4-H year. Youth have an opportunity to show what they have learned and done during the year. Our fair is traditionally held on Labor Day weekend each year. The fair begins on Thursday with judging of youth entries and continues through Labor Day Monday. There is a lot to do and see at the fair!
Remember that exhibiting projects at the fair should be a learning experience. One learns not only from projects well done, but also from mistakes that are made. Youth learn responsibility, time management, communication skills, creativity, and many other life skills at the same time they complete their 4-H projects.
