Extension Iowa County, along with the Wisconsin Institute for Healthy Aging, is offering a four-week group health education workshop titled “Stand Up and Move More”. This is not a fitness program, but rather a free health education program for adults ages 55+.
Meetings will be held on Tuesdays beginning May 3rd through May 24th from 9:30-11:30 am at the Hollandale Village Hall. Participants will learn how to set goals and strategies for standing up and moving more, join in discussions and learn from peers, and learn about the health benefits of sitting less. The program also involves a refresher meeting at 8 weeks.
